WMCFW Show Review: Caitlin Power

Last week Jennifer and I were invited by MacIntyre Communications to view Canadian leading fashion designer, Caitlin Power's fashion show. As one of the most anticipated shows of the season, we were super excited to attend. Dressed up in our most fashionable outfits, we headed down to David Pecaut Square located in the downtown core to view an amazing collection.
Power's known for her classic tailoring and architectural details, she sure did not disappoint as she showcased a collection of beautiful cocktail dresses. Though she did stick to her iconic tailored dresses, Power brought a new way of looking at your typical cocktail dresses. With a modern twist she included various textures and silhouettes that were far from your average. The piece that caught my eye was the neon yellow wet suit inspired dress that had me wishing it was in my personal closet. Overall Ms. Power's Spring/Summer 2015 collection at Toronto Fashion Week was one to remember!
Special thanks to MacIntyre Communications and Caitlin Power for the invite, we truly enjoyed the show.
Thanks for reading!!!
