Travel Diaries: NYC Eateries [DAY 1]

Hey there!
We have been away for a bit but Jamila and I had the chance to go to New York for a few days. It was personally my first time going to explore the city of New York and Jamila had the chance to go a few times before. I just have to say it was love at first sight. I fell in love with the city and its culture. We have always told each other that we will eventually end up moving to New York one day! I loved the fact that we were so organized and decided to plan an itinerary for ourselves when we got there and decided to save money and take the subway to get everywhere. I can't lie the subway was a little confusing at first but we got the hang of it in the end. We were there for three days and did quite a lot in those few days, I was shocked! Here is a summary and outfit description of our journey in New York.
Here is how we started our first day in the Big Apple:
[DAY 1]
1. Quick bite to eat at Cafeteria (located in Chelsea)
The mac 'n' cheese was amazing, so cheesy. This a great place to eat. Jamila and I weren't expecting it to be so filling. Jamila couldn't even finish her's lol. After this quick stop we decided to explore the area.

2. Getting ready to hit up Bob Bar + Times Squares + Shake Shack
So the night didn't go as planned! We went to Bob Bar expecting a great time but got there to see what we weren't expecting! So we switched our planned and went to Times Square to explore a bit and hit up the Shake Shack. They had such great food, ugh can't wait to go back and get more! Wish we had something like this in Toronto.
